Wales premier provider of training and development

Environmental Task Force (ETF)

For Project / Placement Providers

The Environmental Task Force is an integral part of New Deal for young people. It is a programme that aims to assist young people into work. Aimed at 18 - 24 year olds who have been unemployed for six months or more, the programme will  improve employability by offering young people the opportunity to gain valuable experience of a working situation, including training, with the chance to play a part in improving the environment in which they work and live.

Tydfil Training are very keen to inspire more of the unemployed to get involved in the Environmental Task Force. We work extensively with local  organisations who have specific interest in environmental issues and have projects which contribute to conservation within the community.

These projects will offer opportunities for young people to be involved in local communities by regenerating local buildings, working within commercial organisations who show responsibilities to the environment  as well as projects which contribute to the reclamation.

By providing opportunities for these young people you too can play a part in the future of your communities economy and environment
